The Rackard League in girls/boys hurling and football takes place every year in County Wexford. The boys got through to the B final against Kilrush but were narrowly beaten on the day -Hard luck, boys! The girls were also defeated in the shield final by Kilmuckridge by a goal.
Fifth Class boys’ rounders team got through to the A quarter final but came up against an extremely strong Barntown team this year. Well done on getting that far on your first go, boys.
This is an after schools activity and teams from our school compete every year. The Rackard league committee also run the Bree Sports every year. This is an one day athletics event which includes races at 100m, 200m, etc. Relay races also take place. Our school enters pupils each year. This year’s event takes place in June.
