PLAYMAKER
On Wednesday May 10th, Fran Ronan from Sports Partnership came back into our school to deliver a session called ‘Playmaker’ to our 5th class pupils. Playmaker is an introduction into Leadership giving learners knowledge of how to organise small games and activities that can be used at playtime. It helps develop leadership skills such as organisation, communication and teamwork as well as helping to build confidence and self esteem. Fran was assisted by Mary and Luke and the 5th class gained a lot from the course. At lunchtime they put what they had learned into practice with junior and senior infants. We hope our 5th class will be our next year’s playground leaders. Have a look at Playmaker in action below.
