Footgolf

On the Monday and Tuesday of Active School Week, 5th and 6th class along with their teachers headed off to play a round of footgolf at the local golf course. For anyone who doesn’t know what footgolf is, it is an 18 hole course whereby you have to kick the ball along the course and into the designated holes. The children were split into teams and they played against each other in their teams to achieve the lowest score. Everyone got very competitive, had great fun and they didn’t even let a spot of rain dampen their spirits. I’m sure many of the children will be back to complete another round or two soon. A big thank you to Maura Corrigan at Blackwater Golf Course for looking after both classes so well.
